I’m Darren Bartlett, an independent estate agent covering Twickenham, Richmond and the wider TW area. I’ve spent the last 20-odd years selling homes round here, and in that time I’ve personally helped many hundreds of people buy, sell and let their homes. Along the way I’ve been lucky enough to pick up a few industry awards too, including the Leading Innovation in Estate Agency Award in both 2022 and 2023. But honestly? The bit I’m most proud of is the number of clients who come back to me, and the ones who send their friends and family my way.

This is where the game has really changed. I’ve built up an incredible following across my social media accounts, including over 24,000 on Instagram alone. That means when I market your home, it gets in front of thousands of potential buyers, including plenty who weren’t necessarily even looking in this area to start with. It’s amazing how often a property video pulls in a buyer the traditional agents would never have reached. That kind of exposure simply isn’t something a shopfront can offer.

I’ve been selling homes in TW for over 20 years, and I owned my own agency here for more than 10 of those. I’ve also spent time coaching agents for one of the largest estate agencies in the world, so I know exactly what works and what doesn’t. I know which streets buyers are asking about, what’s sold recently and for how much, which schools are pulling families in, and what the realistic price is for your home, not a flattering valuation designed to win your instruction. Most buyers look at properties in the evenings and at weekends. That’s when high street offices are shut. I’m not tied to office hours, so I can take calls, arrange viewings and answer enquiries when buyers are actually looking, which is when offers happen.
